About Us
Stepping Stone Pediatrics is the new private practice of Dr. Bob Kim along with Certified Nurse Practitioners Tanya Wilcox and Holly Smith. Dr. Kim and his team have served the Northwest Cobb area for over a dozen years as part of a large multispecialty health system winning several awards as “Best Pediatric Practice” in the area, but only recently ventured out as an independent practice.
In that time, Dr. Kim has fostered several key relationships in the community and been instrumental in the health and wellness of all the children entrusted to his care.
Our Philosophy

Dr. Kim
Dr. Kim received his undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his MD from the University of California-San Diego, and served his residency at Yale University. After serving as adjunct faculty at the University of Florida, he relocated to the Atlanta area. In addition to providing General Pediatric care for patients in his practice, he has also cared for children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta/Scottish Rite as part of their Hospitalist/Consulting service, Chairman of Pediatrics at Kennestone Hospital, and served two terms on the Board of Directors for the local Make-A-Wish Foundation.
